Program Description
Event Details
Make new friends and build reading and performance skills in this 2-part theatrical workshop! Instructor and writer, Ms. Karen Kron Dickson, fondly known as ‘Ms. KK’ to students at Michigan Actors Studio in RO, will lead participants as they learn about plot, setting and creating characters using voice, expression and movement. Costumes, sets and props will be available within participants' imaginations. In this way, Readers Theatre proves: "All the world's a stage!" with creative opportunities to explore everywhere! The final 15 minutes of the last class will have students perform an original children's play for family and friends.
