Reserve a Room (by room)

The Friends Auditorium is a flexible meeting space for large and small groups. It contains a granite counter with a coffee maker and sink. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance. There are rental fees associated with this room. Reservations are for a minimum of two (2) hours, which includes any set-up or take-down time needed.

Study Room A is available for one reservation per day, for up to two consecutive hours, and accommodates a maximum of 4 people. Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance. There is no cost to use a study room. If you are late for your room, your departure time may not be extended due to demand. You must vacate the room immediately upon the expiration of your reservation or you may forfeit the ability to use the rooms in the future. Please cancel your reservation if you cannot make it.

Study Room B is available for one reservation per day, for up to two consecutive hours, and accommodates a maximum of 4 people. Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance. The Small Conference Room is available for one reservation per day, for up to four consecutive hours (per person or per group). A minimum of 2 people are required to use this room, with a maximum of 8 people allowed. At least 2 people in your party must be present to receive the room key. Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance. There is no cost to use the small conference room. If you are late for your room, your departure time may not be extended due to demand. You must vacate the room immediately upon the expiration of your reservation or you may forfeit the ability to use the rooms in the future. Please cancel your reservation if you cannot make it.

The Local History Room houses resources related to Royal Oak and Oakland County history that are available for visitors to use. The space is not a study room and can only be reserved for using the room’s resources.

This collaborative space in our library has a variety of equipment and materials available for your use. Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance. Your request to reserve Makerspace - DIAL is PENDING until you receive an email notification confirming your reservation. Walk-In appointments are not accepted. Bookings are limited to 4 hours. The room is not available to reserve on Sundays. There is no cost to use the Makerspace, but you may be charged for supplies used.

Located within the Makerspace, this computer station allows access to all the software available with an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. This computer gives you access to powerful creative tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, and more! Reservations and walk-ins welcome!
