Business and Schools Informational Session
On March 18th, at 2 PM, Royal Oak Sustainability and our Food Reduction Pilot Partners will be hosting a free informational session for local food-related businesses, schools, and organizations. This 2-hour session is geared towards, restaurants, caterers, food retailers, grocery stores, and cafeterias who are interested in reducing food waste and diverting food waste from landfills.
We are creating an educational cohort to learn various food waste reduction practices. We will also look at composting opportunities, food donation opportunities, and educational workshops to learn reduction tips and tricks. At this informational session, we will determine how best to facilitate a pilot cohort. If your business, organization, or school is interested in participating in a collaborative and interactive pilot with others, we encourage you to attend to learn more and share your input.
