Program Description
Event Details
April is poetry month, which means a time to celebrate the infinite resources of language. What does it mean to make art out of language? This month, we will celebrate this difficult, pleasurable art with a poetry reading and open mic. Readers will include the contest winners for this year's Royal Oak Public Library poetry contest, as well as anyone interested in sharing a poem, written by themselves or by a poet they love. Everyone is welcome! Registration required to attend, and sign-up sheet will be available at the reading.
