We're excited to showcase our Local History Room and our collections focusing on Royal Oak! Drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7:00 pm to talk with our Local History librarian and learn about our newly re-organized room!
Explore everything the collection has to offer, including yearbooks from Royal Oak high schools going back to 1920, historic city directories, books about Royal Oak history, historic atlases of Oakland County, an extensive file of Royal Oak newspaper clippings, digitized issues of The Daily Tribune going back to 1877 and more.
Our local history room is available by appointment during business hours throughout the year for research.
